Primary gateways

Weekly container sailings and published transit times to most destinations. Every destination page lists these four first.

Also sails from

Booked on request when they sit closer to your cargo or offer an earlier sailing. Transit and frequency are confirmed at quote time.

RoRo gateways

Savannah and Los Angeles / Long Beach have no RoRo berths for our cargo, so roll-on/roll-off shipments from those regions load at these two ports.

How to choose a departure port

  1. 1

Start with the coast nearest your cargo. Trucking to the port is usually a large part of the U.S.-side cost, so a car in Texas normally sails from Houston and a car in New Jersey from New York / New Jersey. U.S. pickup is optional and quoted only when you ask for it.

  2. 2

RoRo cargo goes to a port with RoRo service. In Georgia that is Brunswick, and in Southern California it is Port Hueneme. Container, flat rack and open-top cargo stays at the main gateway.

  3. 3

Transit time depends on the lane. Gulf and Atlantic ports reach Europe, Africa and Latin America; Pacific ports reach Asia and Oceania faster. Each port page lists the published transit to every destination it serves.

Questions about U.S. departure ports

Which U.S. ports do you ship from?

Four primary gateways (Savannah, New York / New Jersey, Houston and Los Angeles / Long Beach), seven more on request (Baltimore, Miami / Port Everglades, Jacksonville, Wilmington NC, Freeport TX, Oakland and Seattle / Tacoma), and two RoRo gateways (Brunswick, GA and Port Hueneme, CA).

Why does RoRo from Savannah load at Brunswick?

The Georgia Ports Authority runs RoRo at Brunswick's Colonel's Island Terminal, which has dedicated RoRo berths. Savannah handles our container, flat rack and open-top cargo.

Can you pick up my cargo and bring it to the port?

Yes. U.S. pickup is optional and quoted separately, from a seller, an auction yard or your address to the port we book.

Can I download your lane and port data?

Yes. The open data page has the lanes and ports as CSV and JSON under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license.
