Happy Independence Day
We are celebrating the country whose exports we carry worldwide. Offices closed Saturday, July 4. Back Monday, July 6, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM ET. Vessels and tracking unaffected.
Seaway Export offices are closed Saturday, July 4 for Independence Day and reopen Monday, July 6 with normal hours, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM ET. Vessels keep sailing, online tracking stays available, and quote requests submitted over the weekend receive a response within 1 business day.
Every container we load carries a little piece of America with it. Vehicles built in Detroit and Texas. Excavators and loaders that cleared American job sites. Boats that spent their summers on American lakes. Since 2009, our job has been simple: send the best of what this country builds out into the world, 440,000 shipments and counting.
That is why the Fourth of July means a bit more to us than a day off. It is the story our business tells every single day, one bill of lading at a time. From our home port in Savannah, Georgia, and through Newark, Houston, and Long Beach, American exports are our whole reason for being.
Holiday hours
Our offices are closed today, Saturday, July 4, so our team can celebrate with their families. We reopen Monday, July 6 with normal business hours, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM ET.
What this means for your shipment
Nothing stops on the water. Vessels already underway keep sailing, and cargo in transit is unaffected. Online tracking remains available throughout the weekend, and you can submit a quote request online at any time. Our team will get back to you within 1 business day once we are back at our desks Monday morning.
To our customers, partners, drivers, port crews, and the whole Seaway family around the world: thank you for trusting us with what you ship. Happy Independence Day.
